We don’t expect any issues from this upgrade, but will be monitoring the server more closely over the next few days.</p> <p>Please report any issues that might be related.</p> </article> <article> <h1>Managed WordPress upgraded to 3.0.1</h1> <p>Dave — Sun, 01 Aug 2010 02:22:07 +0000</p> <p>For users on our <a href='http://www.hireahit.com/what-we-offer/managed-wordpress/'>Managed WordPress</a> platform, the upgrade to WordPress 3.0.1 is being installed over the next few hours.</p> <p>There were also a few minor plug-in updates but nothing of note.</p> <p>This upgrade requires a small database update, so the first time you login after the upgrade you’ll be prompted to complete the upgrade. Click the <strong>Upgrade WordPress Database</strong> button and you’ll be logged in and back to normal.</p> </article> <article> <h1>Mail server performance – Slight improvements</h1> <p>Dave — Sat, 31 Jul 2010 07:50:28 +0000</p> <p>Shortly before this post I was able to complete some database optimizations on the mail server that will hopefully improve performance.</p> <p>I also found and was able to successfully recover from a minor NTFS corruption.
